Measurement difference between a fisher sub sieve sizer(FSSS) and a laser particle size analyzer(LPSA)?
-The results obtained by a fisher sub sieve sizer is average particle size DSV, which is similar to test results D(3,2) obtained by a laser particle size analyzer. However a FSSS actually measure but a LPSA gives particle size distribution before calculating the D(3,2) assuming that the particles are
spherical. That is to say spherical particles give smaller difference and irregular particles give bigger difference.
